A short defense of the rough first version
I shipped this newsletter when the comment section was broken. The subscribe form sent the wrong confirmation email. The about page was a placeholder.
I shipped anyway because the bar for "good enough to be in the world" is much lower than the bar I had been holding myself to. The world rewards iteration on a thing that exists, not perfection of a thing that doesn't.
I will fix the comments tomorrow. The post you are reading is the proof that the rest can wait.
