When I left my last job, I told myself the next thing I built would be small. Not small in ambition — small in surface area. Vubstack is that.
I want a newsletter where each post is the thing itself, not a teaser. No funnel. No "subscribe for the rest." Just writing that earns its readers by being good.
The economics of this look different than the venture model. I do not need a million subscribers. I need a few thousand who care.
